something for nothing!

I am back in the Hinata inn. Sigh. I don't want to talk about what happened when I made a visit back home. I just wanted to ask for wisdom, but I got lectured and embarrassed instead. They said I was becoming rusty. I said nonsense. Anyway, I feel so stupid and I feel I've wasted my energy for something unnecessary. I asked the elders what my dream meant: I saw Keitaro-senpai lying in a coffin. Twice. I heard a chilling answer. The elders said that it meant: it's an end to one's suffering. It was very vague!

"Motoko, don't worry about it." the elder smiled.

"I cannot be relieved after hearing that! Does this mean Keitaro-senpai will die?!"

"You mean to tell me that death would ultimately end one's suffering, Motoko?" The elder sighed. "I did not say that this person will die. I said it's an end to one's suffering -- your friend's problem will end. But that dream doesn't mean anything at all. It's just an interpretation. It's not a vision from the future, nor a fact. You just had a weird dream. Now, is this the reason why you've come here? To ask for an opinion? Or to ask for a weapon that will slay some spirit that creeps behind your friend because you've seen a sign that he will die?"

"D- does this mean that he's going to be all right?"

"Sigh. Yes. You've been worried for nothing." The elder stood up and turned around. "Ah." Then she turned and looked at me again. "You haven't been following your friend around making sure that he doesn't... die, have you?"

"N- No way! THAT'S STUPID!!"

"Oh my. You're too cute when you blush, Motoko." GAAAAH!
