a sweet thunderstorm
Sigh. It's raining hard outside. I was hoping I could spend the time outside practicing my swings. I also wanted to practice my aim for my archery. But the weather was awful. I had no chance.

Look! They're also playing bowling upon the heavens; I mean there's thunders and lightning. I guess we have a thunderstorm. When I was little I really thought that there was bowling game happening in the heavens when I hear a rumbling thunder. "It's still raining... Yeah."Ah! But times like these, it's best to relax. Keitaro-senpai brought a bunch of meat buns. He said that they were from work. And so everybody dug in. I didn't know that eating meat buns while watching the rain outside could be so fun; especially when you have a hot drink with you and the cool wind blows away the stress. It's simply impressive. I enjoyed the view from upstairs. Imagine: rain, you couldn't be bothered to practice *so it's not my fault*, just eating, drinking something warm, while there's always a cool breeze fanning, no care, watching the rain outside, the pitter and the patter on the rooftop, the dark sky perfect for a nap, sigh-- all the best. I was stuck inside the apartment -- same as everybody. When you have a big place to live and it's raining outside, you can really feel the value of shelter. It was cold inside the apartment too. Not uncomfortably cold, but cold as in-- the cold temperature kids enjoy. And I think everyone reverted back to being kids. Everyone was just playing cards downstairs. I just stayed still and let the world choose whether to stay still with me-- or not. As the time passed by, I realized the value of living life in your own pace. I look forward to the next rain. |
