I knew some of the senpais there were greedy. How could they treat Shinobu like that? So what if she lagged behind? Big deal! Isn't it commendable for her to participate at the district meet knowing that she had just joined the track team?! What can she do? That's her first actual experience to compete and then you cut her off because she wasn't good enough at the track meet? There is no honor if their club is only after the medals. However, I don't want to be carried away. I'm angry. But I don't really know their motive why they cut Shinobu from the track team. When I said, cut, I meant she's no longer part of the team. I don't know why, but after what happened this afternoon, I heard Shinobu sob in her room, I think it's because she placed fourth. And what really upset me is their still school made it to the prefectural meet.

I heard a thud upstairs. When I checked what happened, it was Shinobu lying on the floor. Shinobu was struggling to get up and so I helped her back to her room. Keitaro-senpai was at school, and so I tried to find Naru-senpai to ask what to do. She called the school immediately about it.

Shinobu-chan was just tired from the track practice. I've had those kinds of days when I tried to exert extra effort during my practice.

When I came back from school, the upperclassmen were gathered in the apartment. They wanted to visit Shinobu. I thought they didn't notice at school, because they were busy practicing. I didn't even hear anyone of them ask why Shinobu was absent. But I'm relieved to see them here.

For a moment, I thought that they were just pawning her; I thought they didn't believe in Shinobu's potential. I guess I was wrong.
